CHEM-650 Bioinorganic Chemistry (3)


This course covers topics historically taught in inorganic chemistry, including bonding theory, molecular symmetry, spectroscopy, acid-based chemistry, coordination chemistry, and electrochemistry. These topics are covered from within the context of metal bonding and reactivity in biological systems. Students examine how metal reactivity leads to various health outcomes. Crosslist: CHEM-450 .
