SIS-734 International Peace and Conflict Resolution Seminar II (3)

The ability to conceptualize and analyze conflict helps determine what strategies are most suitable. This course considers how war and violent conflicts are best addressed in the twenty-first century and how a positive peace that is more than the mere absence of violence is advanced and solidified. Students learn the origin and foundations of conflict resolution theories and areas of practice in order to participate in their application to real world conflicts. Usually Offered: spring.
