Emphasis is placed on large-scale climate patterns, but the processes involved in storm front development also are explored. Topics covered include atmosphere-ocean interaction, wind circulation patterns, atmospheric water vapor and temperature, hurricane and tornado development, and the climate's impact on humans and their response to it.
