Sustainability is now a significant business driver, posing new challenges to businesses and offering opportunities for innovation. Regulatory-induced and voluntary management initiatives are stimulating improvements across the entire product lifecycle, from design through the supply chain to end users, and the creation of new markets for end of life materials. This course provides students with an understanding of how sustainability efforts impact product design, marketing, procurement, and overall products life cycle management.
