This course examines how statistical methods are utilized within the fields of biology, medicine, and public health. Advanced statistical methods, including ANOVA, multiple regression, analysis of covariance, survival analysis, and nonparametric methods are discussed, with emphasis on their applicability to public health. Usually offered every spring. Prerequisite: STAT-202  or STAT-203 . Note: Students should consult the department for advice and placement testing for appropriate mathematics and statistics courses.
