Practice and critique of translations of a range of material (general, literary, business, diplomatic, social science, and technical). Primarily from Spanish to English, with some translation from English to Spanish. Review of translation theory, methods, techniques, and problems. Meets with SPAN-659 . Usually offered every spring. Prerequisite: SPAN-458  or equivalent.
