Continuation of PSYC-793. Provides advanced training in behavioral and cognitive therapies. Students learn Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and various disorder specific interventions, (e.g., Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, Interoceptive Exposure for panic disorder), both in the classroom and while providing treatment to adult outpatients. Additional activities include report writing, case presentation, and instructor-led group consultation with peers. Usually offered alternate falls. May be taken pass/fail only. Prerequisite: PSYC-793 , admission to clinical psychology doctoral program, and permission of instructor.
