(PC) This course focuses on the principles and practices of media relations, the vital link between public relations and journalism. The material covers the symbiotic link between journalists and PR professionals, providing the latter with the theory and practical skills necessary to become ethical and effective practitioners in an era of digital convergence. Prerequisite: COMM-301  or COMM-640 , or permission of school, and minimum 2.5 GPA.
