This course examines the impact technology, especially the Internet, has on the American political system. Specifically, students evaluate how technology impacts subsystems including interest groups, Congress, and executive agencies. The class focuses on real-world applications of technology in politics through guest speakers and site visits. Meets with GOVT-664 . Usually offered every summer and fall. Prerequisite: minimum 2.5 GPA.
