EDU-545 Overview of All Exceptionalities: The Arts in Special Education

(3)

This is an experiential course to expose students to a variety of exceptional conditions and to teach them about the experiences of children and adults with exceptionalities. Students learn to program for success through a panoply of art forms, by building on the abilities, strengths, and interests of students with exceptionalities, systematically programming academic material into arts activities, and teaching socialization and life skills. Usually offered every fall.
