LIT-650 Theories and Methodologies (3)


This course introduces students to the theories necessary for the study of literature at the graduate level. It provides wide coverage of theoretical and critical issues in the field, as well as diverse modes of pedagogy. Students learn to think self-consciously of their own theoretical and critical methodologies, and to participate in scholarly debates in the field. Usually offered every fall. Restriction: Literature (MA) .
