TESL-620 English Language Teaching III (3)


Focuses on honing teaching skills and theoretical knowledge developed through the TESOL program. Issues of classroom management, effective structuring of classroom discourse, lesson planning, and diagnosing and responding to learner needs are all addressed. Students engage in field experience (observation and teaching), peer teaching and review, and self-reflection on previous teaching and learning experiences with the goal of developing effective teaching practices. Usually Offered: fall. Prerequisite: TESL-601  and TESL-602 .
