Explores the empirical, anatomical, and theoretical aspects of clinical and cognitive human neuropsychology. Includes object and face recognition; spatial perception; voluntary action; language (oral, writing, and reading comprehension, word and sentence processing, speech production); problem-solving and calculation; memory; and dysfunctions (i.e., agnosias, apraxias, amnesias, and aphasias) illustrated with clinical case studies. Usually offered alternate springs (odd years). Prerequisite: permission of instructor.
