GOVT-444 Political Speechwriting (3)

This course concentrates on the basic skills of speechwriting and techniques of successful presentation and delivery. Includes guest lectures and multimedia presentations that illustrate rhetorical skills and devices used by notable and successful public speakers throughout history. Meets with GOVT-644. Usually offered every term. Prerequisite: 6 credit hours of GOVT/SPA coursework at the 300-level or above. Restriction: minimum 2.5 GPA.
