LIT-245 The Experience of Poetry FA1 (3)

This course makes poetry more accessible and enjoyable through analysis, writing, and discussion. Students read poetry in a range of traditions, genres, and forms; write critical papers and responses; and also write and discuss their own poetry in a workshop format. Writing poetry gives students the opportunity to practice the craft of poetry and to explore their own creativity. AU Core Habits of Mind: Creative-Aesthetic Inquiry. Usually Offered: fall and spring.
