SOCY-215 The Rise of Critical Social Thought FA2 (3) Issues about social science as a critical vision of society; imagined social possibilities and their comparison to existing social institutions. Secondary themes are individual development, community, large societal institutions, the effects of industrialism and capitalism, and the limits of social science knowledge as a guide to social planning and social action.
