SIS-733 International Peace and Conflict Resolution Seminar I (3) This course presents the main theoretical approaches to peace and mass violence. Students learn the history and underlying assumptions of explanations of peace and war including the interstate system, international organizations, fragile states, gendered societies, economic incentives, ideas, and psychological factors.
