CHEM-424 Application of Spectroscopy in Medicinal Chemistry (3) Focuses on the applied fundamental analytical chemistry to biologically active and clinically relevant compounds. Topics such as chromatographic separations e.g., gas chromatography (GC), liquid chromatography (LC), capillary electrophoresis (CE); mass spectrometry (qualitative and quantitative analysis); nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR); and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), are discussed. In addition, modern applications in the analysis of small molecules in the pharmaceutical industry and in the clinic are covered. Crosslist: CHEM-624 . Usually Offered: alternate springs.
