SIS-707 History of Global Politics (3)

This course provides historical context on change and continuity in the global political system. It examines the rise, fall and evolution of the political units that have comprised the system, including city-states, empires, and socio-cultural political units such as world religions as well as the modern nation-state and addressed how each of these different forms of political units have affected the practice of global politics across the centuries.
