COMM-201 Survey of International Cinema (3)

This survey course covers film history internationally from 1895 to the present. Students examine a variety of film movements including Middle Eastern, African diaspora, and Southeast Asian and East Asian cinema, as well as movements in Europe and the United States. Usually Offered: fall and spring. Grading: A-F only. Prerequisite: COMM-100. Prerequisite/Concurrent: COMM-105 and COMM-282. Restriction: minimum 2.5 GPA.
