Fundamentals of algebraic, logarithmic, exponential, and trigonometric functions. AU Core Foundation: Quantitative Literacy I. Usually Offered: fall and spring. Restriction: Registration not allowed in both MATH-170 and MATH-160. Note: Registration eligibility determined by appropriate score on the Mathematics Placement test. Intended primarily for students planning to take MATH-221. Students may not receive credit toward a degree for both MATH-170 and MATH-160.
