SPEX-635 Teams and Virtual Teams (3)

This course provides students with the skillset needed to lead and manage teams in the virtual workplace. It examines the history, growth and future of working virtually. It focuses on staff in different states, countries and those who work virtually locally. It provides the skills for the virtual leader to be able to guide his or her team regardless of location. It explores the impact of elements of isolation on a team that relies on electronic communications and examines the physical, operational and affinity challenges. Finally, it looks at formal policies regarding the virtual workplace. Restriction: Graduate SPExS Program: Online.
