PSYC-310 Introduction to Forensic Psychology (3)


Mental health professionals who work within the legal system combine an understanding of the law, clinical symptomatology, and individual and environmental factors that contribute to delinquent behavior and serial criminality in order to provide care and supervision to the criminal justice involved population. This course provides a framework for understanding the relationship between law and behavioral sciences. The development of patterns of criminality and violence are explored. Prerequisite: PSYC-100  or PSYC-105 .
