SOCY-612 Social Theory: From Classical to Contemporary Thinkers (3) Examines the contributions of major thinkers in social theory from the nineteenth century through to contemporary times. Focus on both founding thinkers, such as Marx, Durkheim, Weber, and DuBois, and more contemporary theorists, such as Goffman, Foucault, Bourdieu, and Hill-Collins.
