STAT-202 Basic Statistics (4)

Data presentation, display, and summary, averages, dispersion, simple linear regression, and correlation, probability, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, and tests of significance. Use of statistical software both to analyze real data and to demonstrate and explore concepts. AU Core Foundation: Quantitative Literacy I. Usually Offered: fall, spring, and summer. Prerequisite: mathematics course. Restriction: Registration not allowed in both STAT-202, and STAT-203 or STAT-204. Note: Students may not receive credit toward a degree for both STAT-202, and STAT-203 or STAT-204.
