ECON-650 Growing Artificial Societies (3) Introduction to agent-based computational economics. Computational models of economic growth, wealth inequality, the origins of cooperative behavior, and social dilemmas including the tragedy of the commons. This is a hands-on course: students examine, experiment with, and modify agent-based models. No prior programming experience is required. Crosslist: ECON-450 . Usually Offered: fall and summer.
