This course is a survey of legal issues that pertain to the operation of nonprofit organizations, particularly arts groups. Students learn about the relevant aspects of corporate law, tax law, intellectual property, fiduciary duties, corporate sponsorships, nonprofit policies, contracts, and employment laws.
