WSEM-418 Global Politics (4)


This course examines important historical and contemporary themes in global politics in order to help students understand the key dynamics and institutions of the current international system. Experiential learning techniques and tools such as decision and policy making models are used to analyze how national governments, inter-governmental institutions, and non-governmental organizations make decisions and interact with each other to set the larger framework for the international political system. The course focuses on the role of governmental and non-governmental actors in developing the structures and institutions of the international system, including international law and multilateral organizations.
