EDU-764 Measurement and Data (2)

This course focuses participants on developing understanding of the strands of mathematical proficiency involved in concepts of measurement and data in grades K through 6. Participants are immersed in the progression of the measurement and data standards aligned to the state standards for mathematics at grades K through 6. Emphasis is placed on participants examining the crosscutting mathematics concepts that are connected to measurement and data topics. Participants rehearse the long-range and individual lesson planning that embeds interdisciplinary tasks. Grading: A-F only. Restriction: Teaching (MAT) [City Teaching Alliance].
