CORE-202 AU Encounters: James Baldwin (1)

This course examines key themes in U.S. society and beyond by exploring the works and legacy of James Baldwin. Students explore James Baldwin’s life and writings through a multidisciplinary lens, incorporating readings, films, guest lectures, and museum visits. Students critically engage with complex topics like race, ethnicity, religion, gender, class, and sexuality, while developing skills for dialogue. AU Core Foundation: AU Experience II.
