This course examines some of the most influential icons in Latin America through analysis of their representation in theatre, film, narrative, poetry, short story, and diverse media. Figures include Camila O’Gorman, Juan Moreira, Carlos Gardel, Pablo Neruda, Salvador Allende, Juan Domingo Peron, Eva Peron, Che Guevara, and Gabriela Mistral. Crosslist: SPAN-683.
