This course examines the philosophical issues associated with criminal punishment, particularly the moral justification for punishment. Theories of punishment, who the state punishes, and how citizens are punished are also explored. AU Core Integrative Requirement: Capstone. Prerequisite:JLC-110 and JLC-302.
