SPAN-463 Business Spanish (3)

This course focuses on terminology, vocabulary, and cultural practices related to the business world in Latin America. Students are introduced to topics such as management, human resources, marketing, and banking through an in-depth study of commercial, historical, political, and cultural aspects of various Spanish-speaking countries. Students acquire a real perspective of the business world in Spanish through the examination of common business documents such as CVs, professional letters, and executive summaries. In addition, students are given the opportunity to interact with Latino entrepreneurs in the Washington, DC area to develop contacts and foster professional development. Crosslist: SPAN-663.
