BEHS-702 Organisms to Ecosystems (3)

This course investigates the fundamental components, processes, and mechanisms associated with life, ranging in scale from individual organisms to the entire planet earth. Main topics include physiology of various phylogenetic groups, evolution, population and community ecology, feedbacks between organisms and their habitats, the function and importance of earth’s ecosystems, and different cultural views of humans’ relationship to other species and to the natural world. Restriction: Biomedical and Environmental Health Sciences (PhD).
