This course is an introduction to the theories of public policymaking, with an emphasis on the institutions that shape the policy process in the U.S. context. Emphasis is placed on theories and methods for research on agenda setting, policy adoption, implementation, and evaluation. Usually offered alternate falls. Prerequisite: admission to PhD program or permission of instructor.
