Offered by the Kogod School of Business , the Accounting (Minor) provides a thorough grounding in financial and management accounting and an introduction to an advanced area of accounting. This minor is especially appropriate for students who will use accounting knowledge extensively in their work and for those interested in preparing for a professional accounting career. Students who earn an undergraduate minor and the Accounting (MS) or Taxation (MS) will be well prepared for the Uniform CPA Exam and meet the educational requirements for professional licensure in most states.

Minor Requirements
- 18 credit hours with grades of C or better, a minimum of 12 credit hours at or above 300-level, and at least 12 credit hours unique to the minor
- Business Administration (BSBA) students are not eligible to declare this minor
