Forensic Accounting (Graduate Certificate)

Offered by the Kogod School of Business , the Forensic Accounting (Graduate Certificate) provides professionals working in the financial fraud examination area a program combining both academic rigor and skill set training to enhance their performance in this emerging field.

Admission to the Program
Open to students with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution with a satisfactory grade point average. Applicants must have at least one year of work experience. Applicants whose first language is not English must have a satisfactory score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Not eligible for F-1 or J-1 visa sponsorship.
Certificate Requirements
- 12 credit hours of approved coursework with grades of C or better. Grades of C- or D in certificate program courses are not accepted toward the fulfillment of certificate requirements, although these grades will be included in the calculation of the GPA. Students must have a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA in certificate courses in order to be awarded a certificate. Students must complete at least 6 credit hours during each 12 month period. Students must complete the certificate within four years. With approval of department chair, a maximum of 3 credit hours of relevant graduate coursework earned at an accredited college or university may be transferred toward the certificate

Complete 3 credit hours from the following, as approved by department chair: Note: Students who plan to enroll in the Accounting (MS) program should not take FIN-630 to satisfy the course requirements for the certificate. |
