Agile Project Management (Graduate Certificate)

Offered by the School of Professional & Extended Studies , the Agile Project Management (Graduate Certificate) is a fully online program geared toward mid-career professionals. This program equips students with the skills needed to apply Agile methodology to manage projects and lead teams that enhance an organization’s effectiveness. It is designed to attract students interested in pursuing new or advanced careers in any field where they need to develop innovative solutions by using an iterative and incremental project management approach that empowers project teams through collaboration.

Admission to the Program


In addition to meeting the minimum university requirements for graduate study, applicants must have earned an undergraduate bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a satisfactory grade point average. 

Applicants whose first language is not English must have a satisfactory score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). 

Students are admitted to the Agile Project Management program in the fall, spring, and summer terms.

Certificate Requirements


  • 12 credit hours of approved graduate coursework with grades of C or better. Grades of C- or D in certificate program courses are not accepted toward the fulfillment of certificate requirements, although these grades will be included in the calculation of the GPA. Students must have a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA in certificate courses in order to be awarded a certificate. Students in certificate programs must take a minimum of 6 credit hours during each 12-month period and complete the certificate in four years. A maximum of 3 credit hours earned at an accredited college or university may be applied toward the certificate as transfer credit.
