Minor Requirements

21 credit hours with grades of C or better, a minimum of 9 credit hours at or above 300-level, and at least 12 credit hours unique to the minor

Course Requirements

Complete the Performance or Academic focus:

Performance Focus

Required (9 credit hours)

History of Music (3 credit hours)

Complete 3 credit hours from the following:

Private Study (6 credit hours)

MUS-122 Private Instrumental or Vocal Study (2) (taken three semesters for a total of 6 credit hours)

Upper-level Electives (3 credit hours)

3 credit hours in music electives at or above 300-level

Performance Ensembles Requirement

Music minors with a performance focus must successfully participate in a performance ensemble for a minimum of four semesters.

Academic Focus

Required (9 credit hours)

History of Music (3 credit hours)

Complete 3 credit hours from the following:
