Admission to the Program
Students apply for admission in the spring of sophomore year or the fall of their junior year.
Students seeking admission to the program must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, have a major GPA of 3.33 or higher, and submit a written proposal. The written proposal should describe one’s grades, any exceptions that the admissions committee should consider, how the Honors in Biology program will facilitate their goals beyond their undergraduate education, and a brief explanation of the specific field of biology they are interested in further exploring.
