International Peace and Conflict Resolution (MA) and Master of Theological Studies


A dual master’s degree program is offered by the School of International Service  and Wesley Theological Seminary. Graduates receive both the International Peace and Conflict Resolution (MA)  and the Master of Theological Studies.

Admission to the Program


Applications are submitted to both the School of International Service  and Wesley Theological Seminary. Students must be admitted separately to each program. For more information on requirements, contact the SIS Graduate Admissions Office at 202-885-1646 and the Wesley Theological Seminary Admissions Office at 202-885-8659.

Dual Degree Requirements


  • Students may count up to 12 credit hours from Wesley Theological Seminary toward the International Peace and Conflict Resolution (MA) . With SIS faculty approval, 9 credit hours count toward the concentration/elective requirements, and 3 credit hours count toward the capstone experience requirement.
