Offered by the College of Arts and Sciences , the Science and Policy certificate program is designed to provide STEM students exposure and experience with science communication and science policy. This includes understanding the process by which policies affecting scientific research, application and enterprise are made. The students also experience both oral and written forms of communication in the science policy realm, including presentations and seminars. The program offers students opportunities for exposure to and experiences with policymakers and leaders in the scientific community.

Admission to the Program
Open to undergraduate degree students enrolled in a College of Arts and Sciences STEM major with minimum sophomore standing. Foundation (9 credit hours)
Experiential Research (3 credit hours)
Complete 3 credit hours from an independent research project or internship approved by the program director: |
