Admission to the Program
Formal admission to the major requires a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 (on a 4.00 scale) and departmental approval. Students who wish to obtain credentials for teaching grade 7-12 mathematics may also complete a second major in the School of Education . - 51 credit hours with grades of C or better, including at least 32 credit hours at or above 300-level
- Specializations: Pure Mathematics; Secondary Education

Complete 3 credit hours from the following:
Specialization (24 credit hours)
Complete one of the following specializations: Required (12 credit hours)
Mathematics, Statistics, or Related Discipline Electives (12 credit hours)
Complete 12 credit hours from the following with minimum 6 credit hours in MATH and STAT: Required (18 credit hours)
Electives (6 credit hours)
