Offered by the Department of Performing Arts , College of Arts and Sciences , the interdisciplinary Arts Management program prepares graduates to advance artistic expression and experience through strategic management practice. With an emphasis on nonprofit and public organizations, the MA in Arts Management instills the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to help artists, arts organizations, and creative communities thrive.

Admission to the Program
In addition to meeting the minimum university requirements for graduate study, candidates must demonstrate a trajectory of commitment to collaborative practice in the arts - through two or more years of professional experience or through active leadership and participation in one or more artistic disciplines as a student or volunteer. Two letters of recommendation and a current resume are required. Provisional admission may be granted and is removed at the completion of 12 credit hours of coursework with a minimum grade point average of 3.00. Required (21 credit hours)

Complete 6 credit hours from the following, or other approved courses in management, artistic, or creative practice, including business administration, communication, public administration, performing arts, studio art, photography, art history, public history, or other artistic/creative discipline:
