Offered by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics , College of Arts and Sciences , the Data Science (Graduate Certificate) program is designed for individuals who wish to augment or begin studies in data science. Students are trained in the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data. By enrolling in the certificate program, students build competency in the field of data science that is beneficial to a wide range of careers because it improves their data analytic skills.

Admission to the Program
Open to students with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Students entering the program without the appropriate background will be expected to complete prerequisite coursework (STAT-614 Statistical Methods (3) ), which may be completed once admitted to the program.
