Admission to the Program
Applicants must satisfy the admission requirements of KSB to be admitted to the program. In addition, applicants must also have completed two undergraduate economics courses, one in micro and one in macro economics (or the graduate equivalent), one undergraduate statistics course, and two undergraduate financial accounting courses (or the graduate equivalent) prior to entering the program. Ideally, application to the dual degree program should be made during the initial admissions process to KSB, but must be made no later than the end of the first year of the MBA program. Applicants are considered and admitted for the fall semester only.
Dual Degree Requirements
- 63 credit hours of approved graduate work, including 33 credit hours of MBA coursework, and 30 credit hours of MS coursework
- Capstone Experience: KSB-613 Strategic Decision Making (3) and FIN-685 Topics in Finance (1.5-3) : Theory of Finance
- Orientation Requirement: All students are required to participate in the Full-Time MBA Orientation prior to the start of the program
- Neither degree will be awarded until all requirements for both degrees are completed

Finance Electives
Complete 15 credit hours from the following: MBA Electives
- 6 credit hours from ACCT, FIN, IBUS, ITEC, KSB, MGMT, MKTG, and REAL courses, or other non-business courses approved by program director
Capstone (6 credit hours)
