Mathematics (Minor)

Offered by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics , College of Arts and Sciences .

Minor Requirements

  • 21 credit hours with grades of C or better, a minimum of 9 credit hours at or above 300-level, and at least 12 credit hours unique to the minor

Course Requirements

Required (8 credit hours)

Calculus (4 credit hours)

Complete 4 credit hours from one of the following options:

Calculus I

Applied Calculus and Bridge

Electives (9 credit hours)

Complete 9 credit hours from the following, with at least 5 credit hours at or above 300-level:

Note: Students may receive credit for only one of STAT-202 Basic Statistics (4) , STAT-203 Basic Statistics with Calculus (4) , or STAT-204 Introduction to Business Statistics (4) , and only one of STAT-302 Intermediate Statistics (3)  or STAT-320 Biostatistics (3)
