Admission to the Program
In addition to meeting the minimum university requirements for graduate study, applicants must have taken undergraduate science courses appropriate to the concentration, or have significant practical background in a relevant science area. A cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) is required. Specific courses needed to prepare for entering the program will be identified through interviews with the applicant. Degree Requirements
- 30 credit hours of approved graduate work
- Capstone Experience: Complete 3 credit hours from one of the following:
Required (15 credit hours)
Project Management (3 credit hours)
Complete 3 credit hours from the following: Track (9 credit hours)
Complete one of the following tracks: Biodefense
Complete 9 credit hours from the following: Bioinformatics
Complete 9 credit hours from the following: Biotechnology Management
Complete 9 credit hours from the following: Drug Discovery and Design
