ECON-675 Gender Economics II (3) This course explores the relationship between gender and economic outcomes in a variety of contexts, presenting empirical studies that explore the causes and consequences of gender inequality. Topics include gender differences in education, earnings, career advancement, and personal finance; gender discrimination; marriage market dynamics; fertility decision making and fertility control; maternal health; and gender-based violence. Usually Offered: alternate springs (odd years). Prerequisite: ECON-600 or ECON-803 , and ECON-601 or ECON-802 ; or ECON-603 .
