An introduction to the basic principles and theories of dance improvisation. The course evokes students’ creative individuality and sense of ensemble through individual as well as partner and group exercises. Course work includes movement, readings, and other assignments to contextualize the form. Usually Offered: spring. Repeatable for credit.
